Rules - 1-On-1, Returns


Beirut (beer pong) is predominantly a team game, but it can also be enjoyable to play one-on-one. In one-on-one beirut (beer pong) with returns, the game is played with one ball, and a player is rewarded an additional shot each time they hit a cup.


  2  The Players
2.1  Formation of Teams [Variation]
Each team shall consist of 1 player.

  7  Order of Play
7.2  Shooting Order [Variation]
Teams shall take turns shooting the ball alternately. When a player has legal possession of the ball during their turn to shoot, they are deemed the shooter and the opposing team deemed the defender. The shooter may shoot at any time.
7.2.1  Shooter Sinks Ball [Addition]
If the shooter sinks the ball, they shall be awarded another turn unless the cup hit is the opposing team's final cup. A shooter may continue to shoot indefinitely so long as they hit cups consecutively.
7.5  Redemption
7.5.1  Redemption Order of Play [Variation]
If during the turn of redemption, the shooter sinks the ball, they shall be awarded another turn of redemption. A shooter may continue to shoot indefinitely so long as they hit cups consecutively.
